Tampines One Water Playground

Tampines One Shopping mall has a roottop water playground. This one is a wild life theme root top playground. Accessible by lift 5F the playground is divided into different continents and endangered species.

There are a dry area. However, it did not keep dry as kids who played at water area came over to enjoy the facilities and got the place wet as well. Do bring extra clothing even if your kids want to play in the dry area only.

After all the play the kids can take a quick shower or get changed located at the side of the entrance.

VivItalia @ Courts Megastore

At Courts Megastore (the big one at Tampines, alongside the big Ikea and giant Giant) which has a playground, so one day, I decided to check it out!

The food serving is slow, prepared to wait for 1/2 to an hour at least. Italian food served are halah and price reasonably.

The playground was pretty big and impressive.. It looked like so much fun! They had a height limit: Only for kids 90 – 130 cm tall

Woodlands Waterfront Park

It’s a place that not only makes the kids happy, it also makes me very happy. The park is spacious, very windy and you get to see lots of beautiful sights like deep blue skies, the sea and ships. Best of all, for something so natural and lovely, you don’t have to pay a single cent to enjoy it all. I love it.

The landmark structure and mega playground at Woodlands Waterfront Park is really strong-looking. Not exactly suitable for toddlers, for sure. But school-going kids and adults would find it interesting and fun

Unique two-storey-high bridge made of meshed rope, called a “skywalk”.

Stationary skating system which even adults can use.

Park is built on a former warehouse site on the north coast of Singapore.

Visitors can enjoy a view of Johor Baru from a lookout point in the park and participate in community activities at the event plaza.

Marina Barrage

The Marina Barrage is a reservoir that also help control floods. We finally got around to paying it a visit and were greeted by a life sized replica of the seven pumps operating in Marina Barrage in the form of a Sculpture.

The Green Roof – Open space, beautiful views, picnics and kites flying

Coming out from the elevator, we have a pleasant surprise to see a beautiful green patch of grass with a view of Singapore’s skyline. There were plenty of people having picnics, flying kites on the Green Roof

Water fun at Marina Barrage

The big space and fountains and water make my boy all excited. The nice part of the water play area is that there are so many variety of fountain in the space and there are also plenty of space to run about

Car: From East Coast Parkway (ECP) in the direction of Vivo City, take 17A exit and turn into Marina Place and Marina Boulevard before turning into Marina Mall. Drive pass Gardens by the Bay and you will see the main entrances of Marina Barrage.

Ben & Jerry's at Dempsey Hill

Take away a full day's of stress and drama with a stroll at Dempsey Hil. The Ranch Home at Dempsey Hill featuring World-Famous Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.

The entrance of the place presents a laid back style, they have different kinds of seating arrangement: tall chairs, benches, sofas - take your pick.

Singapore Zoo

Singapore Zoo is well-known for creating natural habitats and its "Open Concept" where the animals are allowed to roam freely in their "enclosures".  You could hardly feel that the animals are enclosed and keep safe away from you as they seems so close and roaming so wildly.

They done that with cleverly designed natural barriers (such as rivers and elevated platforms) that do not obstruct your views and able to run freely at the same time keep the danger animals safely away from you.

Boat Safari ride. There are 2 boat dock and the ride take approximately 20mins.  Tickets can be purchased at the dock.  You will be able to traverse the pristine waters of the Upper Seletar Reservoirs.

For the family, you could visit the Children Playground to have a KFC lunch and watch your children having a splashing good time at the Water Play area.

Vivocity

Vivo City is the latest and the largest hip place to be seen shopping and it is also the one-stop venue for fun and food.
On the rooftop there is a shallow pool where kids can have good fun. The opendoor playground at level 2. 

The playground is big safe area where there are so many new "toys" such as slides, water fixtures, climbing structures and tunnels.
