Port of Lost Wonder (POLW)

Singapore's first kids club, the Port of Lost Wonder (POLW) at Palawan Beach.

Spanning 6,177 square metres, the new attraction features a pirate ship water-play area, picnic decks, outdoor play areas for toddlers, F&B and retail outlets as well as indoor and outdoor activities.
The pirate ship water-play area can accommodate up to 100 kids and adults are allowed within the area if they are accompanying their children.

POLW Wonder Crew will also be stationed to ensure safety at all times.
An outdoor play area called Curiosity Island lets children participate in various activities and an air-conditioned Play Den provides a comfortable hideout.

A toddlers' play area called Hatch Patch allows little ones to crawl and roll around, while families can hold picnics on The Deck.

Events spaces for birthday parties or events can also be held at the Celebration Island area, a purpose-built space for parties to be held within POLW.

The new attraction also becomes a spot for dining and relaxation in the evenings when the water play area closes at 6pm.

Tampines One Water Playground

Tampines One Shopping mall has a roottop water playground. This one is a wild life theme root top playground. Accessible by lift 5F the playground is divided into different continents and endangered species.

There are a dry area. However, it did not keep dry as kids who played at water area came over to enjoy the facilities and got the place wet as well. Do bring extra clothing even if your kids want to play in the dry area only.

After all the play the kids can take a quick shower or get changed located at the side of the entrance.

Marina Barrage

The Marina Barrage is a reservoir that also help control floods. We finally got around to paying it a visit and were greeted by a life sized replica of the seven pumps operating in Marina Barrage in the form of a Sculpture.

The Green Roof – Open space, beautiful views, picnics and kites flying

Coming out from the elevator, we have a pleasant surprise to see a beautiful green patch of grass with a view of Singapore’s skyline. There were plenty of people having picnics, flying kites on the Green Roof

Water fun at Marina Barrage

The big space and fountains and water make my boy all excited. The nice part of the water play area is that there are so many variety of fountain in the space and there are also plenty of space to run about

Car: From East Coast Parkway (ECP) in the direction of Vivo City, take 17A exit and turn into Marina Place and Marina Boulevard before turning into Marina Mall. Drive pass Gardens by the Bay and you will see the main entrances of Marina Barrage.

Vivocity

Vivo City is the latest and the largest hip place to be seen shopping and it is also the one-stop venue for fun and food.
On the rooftop there is a shallow pool where kids can have good fun. The opendoor playground at level 2. 

The playground is big safe area where there are so many new "toys" such as slides, water fixtures, climbing structures and tunnels.

Changi City Point

If you are looking for a free water play in the east , check out the latest waterplay in Changi City Point. It is located at the Changi Business Park also known as the Garden City in the East. The water play area is outside the food court. There is also a dry area has a treetop obstacle trail to cross and climb. You get to see some planes flying occasionally since this is near the airport.
However there are not shower facilities except some water spray.

Public Swimming Pool with water play

SengKang Swimming Complex

Swimming Complex is priced at normal public swimming pool admissions and like most normal swimming complex has its regular Olympic swimming lap pools (2 of them).   On top of that, it has many additions  that normal swimming complex do not have such as the winding tube slides, the rollercoaster slides and water playground for toddlers and preschoolers (even adults love the water massages provided here).

The main attraction is unarguably the colorful slides. There are a total of 8 slides. On the right hand side, there are 2 slides for younger child with height under 1.2m.  In the center, there are 4 slides similar to those in Big Splash and you require to have a minimum height of 1.2m to play.  On the left hand side, there are 2 longer and higher tube slides for the brave ones.  These tubes are dark and long and could be scary for younger kids.  It is very exciting even for adults and require to have minimum of 1.2m.

There are limited parking lots beside the Swimming pool and it is always full.   If you parked at the parking lots around the Swimming Complex remember to have a valid coupon as they are frequently checked.

Pasir Ris Swimming Complex

Pasir Ris swimming pool comes with a feature pool with slides, a jacuzzi and water features. There is also a partly sheltered competition pool as well as a toddler’s pool.
